Never have we had such a wide variety of dietary options, incuding "silver bullet" fad diets, yet the rising incidence of obesity and type 2 diabetes in the world is evidence of the need to improve health by making better dietary decisions. There are many opportunities for you to choose foods that promote your health and wellbeing while reducing risk of chronic disease. But, knowing what to eat, drink and do, given all the latest trends can be daunting enough to stop you taking any action at all. In-action is a decision in itself, and it's not helpful!

 

I am a Nationally Recognised Nutritionist with Allied Health Professional Indemnity / Public Liability insurance and am registered with The Nutrition Council Australia. This means I legally practise as a Nutritionist under the Nutrition Council Australia Scope of Practice. I work with clients to identify their specific needs and goals, as well as provide them with detailed nutritional advice and individually tailored meal plans to assist them in achieving those needs and goals. During my studies I opted to specialise in Sports Nutritional Advise and Health & Wellness Coaching. So now that you hopefully feel confident in my qualifications let me share some more about why and how I think we can work together!

 

The Nutrition Review, Consultation, Plan is a comprehensive view of your current nutrition. It encompasses your current and past health concerns, through an in-depth review of different body systems, a current dietary intake, food habits and lifestyle assessment. It is all of this information that I use to inform your nutrition plan. Everything is built from this so it is important for this to be transparent, thorough and accurate enough to make the difference and help you achieve your personal goals.

 

Your plan is an achievable guide created in consultation with you, to reach your health goals and includes dietary advice, food suggestions or plans, nutritional supplementation if needed and lifestyle recommendations. As mentioned, we work collaboratively to set both achievable and realistic goals relevant to your health concerns, ensure your understanding and how to do it! Taking this step will exponentially boost the outcomes you're looking for.

 

What to expect:

  • Firstly, each and every person is different therefore your treatment is customised to your specific needs.
  • You will complete a health status screening and client questionnaire online. 
  • You will keep a 7 day diary including food and water intake as well as exercise activities.
  • We will have a Q&A call to discuss or clarify your goals in more detail (30 mins).
  • You will be provided with education, tools and skills via a comprehensive nutriton plan which will be pesented to you (60 mins).
  • You should feel empowered, educated and motivated to apply the changes to your lifestyle and nutrition.
  • You will receive a two week post nutriton plan questionnaire to complete. This will address how you have gone with your plan, any challenges or successes, loves or hates.
  • You will be offered an optional follow up call (30 mins) four weeks after you start your nutriton plan to ask any further questions in a live setting (one on one).
